PEM 492 - Graduation Project

Course Objectives

1. To present a graduation study that proves that the student has the necessary knowledge and development and has reached the desired professional level in all discipline areas that constitute the educational integrity of landscape architecture.
2. Ensuring that the phenomenon of student upbringing is further developed at this last stage through critics
3. Accessing synthesis based on the knowledge and experience gained during the whole education; developing solution alternatives and proposing the solution.

Course Description

Problem definition: Analysis and investigation of conditions, constraints, possibilities and requirements of the site and its environment. Transformation of design information into design knowledge. Developing design concept. Defining design criteria and their priorities. Transformation of results of analysis into spatial relations. Based on the design knowledge and experience throughout the design education, to reach the synthesis. Developing solution alternatives, and proposing final solution.
