SBP 245E - Urban Transportation
Course Objectives
This lecture aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of urban transport as well as to provide discussions on recent developments in transport studies.
Course Description
ransport research is interdisciplinary in character. Moreover, it is supported by a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods. This lecture combines methods and theory produced by different disciplines such as transport geography, transport engineering, sociology, anthropology, urban geography and urban design and discusses the application of transport policies in urban areas. Students are encouraged to follow the recent development in the area and bring their insights to the classroom and participate in the discussions.
