Settlement definitions, Urbanization and approaches in urban planning, Development of modern planning process, Effect of industrialization on settlements, Nature and settlement interaction, Settlements and sustainability, Introduction to the city planning process, Regional analysis, Land use planning principles at regional scale, Land use planning at metropolitan and city scale, Land use characteristics and planning principles in city centers, Land use planning principles in residential areas, Land use planning principles in recreation areas, Working areas and transportation stratification, Zoning and land use control criteria.
