Course Objectives

1. To introduce the artefacts and actors of the architectural and urban realm from the Early Modern Period to the present day
2. To provoke historically grounded, critical and comparative thinking about the architecture of the period in consideration

Course Description

The course surveys the development of architecture since the Middle Ages. It aims to introduce the leading movements and individuals as well as the theoretical discussions of the period.
