Course Objectives The objective of the course is to introduce the history of architecture of antiquity and the middle ages in the Mediterranean basin and contemporary cultures.
Course Description This is a 3 hours course in the classroom, that will be complimented with excursions in and outside of Istanbul.
Course Outcomes At the end of the semester the students will (hopefully) be able to identify and describe the different periods of architectural history in their historical and geographical cultural contexts.
