Course Objectives |
Purpose of the course is to enlighten the visions of students on the basic principles and aproaches to urban and regional planning issues in accordance with impacts of land uses.

Course Description |
Definitions of urban, Rural Settlements, Urbanization and approaches to the land use planning procedures, Development of modern urban planning, Industrialization and impacts on urbanization, Urbanization in the post-rural era, Nature and settlement interactions, Nature and urban-rural settlements, Settlements and sustainability, Introduction to urban land use planning procedure, Regional surveys, Regional land use planning, Metropolitan and urban land use planning, Modern urban places, Surveys and analysis of urban planning, Characteristics of land uses in urban centers, Residental land use and planning approaches, Recreational land use and planning approaches, Planning principles of work places and transportation hierarchy in urban areas, Zoning and land use control measures.

Course Outcomes |
1) Historical evolution of cities and the City history
2) Metropolitan cities, big cities and other cities in different size differences between the systems, structural differences, planning approach and method
3) Housing areas, location and design criteria, construction intensity, technical services with design relations, planned-unplanned development, illegal development processes, fugitive settlements, squatter phenomenon
4) City centers and sub-centers, industrial areas, service areas, MIA et al
5) Reflections of data and tissue to form a natural place to plan effects
6) Placed on systems, standards and requirements for field services, to determine areas of the technical infrastructure organization and allocation of space for this area and design development
7) To create places with a high level of quality of life produced and respectful to nature, human and society in the process of planning and design
8) To take into account the current status of urban areas, information about a planned or unplanned developments have, to interpret, to assess the spatial organization as the plan is developed and applied by others
9) Planning and design decisions reflected in the development and the decisions of sub-scale, spatial organization and could be resolved in the direction of how to generate ideas and expression |
