Course Objectives The aim of the course is, to provide the knowledge about economic dynamics, actors and possible impacts on cities regarding the significancy on planning decisions.
Course Description The rationale of the cities, the relationship between industrialization and urbanization, transformation of production process and the cities. Rising of economic activities, knowledge economy, location and spatial distribution of economic activities, agglomeration economies, clusters, urban rent, real estate development, labor market, green economy, urban politics and public finance.
Course Outcomes 1. Relationship among spatial, social and economic features and the impacts of planning

2. Changing economic activities within the city, production process and urbanization
