Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to give a concise understanding of the history of human interaction/relation with nature and to provide information about the development of certain styles and movements at various geographies and time periods.

Course Description

Ders kronoljik bir izlek takip ederek, peyzaj mimarligi ve bahce sanatinin donemsel gelismelerini "Dogu ve Bati Kulturleri" baglaminda ele alacaktir. Peyzaj tarihsel ve kulturel bir kavram olarak ele alinacak ve arkaik donemden 19. yuzyila kadar ortaya cikan sosyo-kulturel, teknolojik ve teolojik gelismelere paralel olarak tartisilacaktir.
