Course Objectives
To teach the fundamental concepts of real estate economics
To demonstrate the structure and behaviour of real estate markets
To show the economic foundations and market dynamics of the real estate market
Understanding the relationship between planning and the real estate market
Recognizing the actors in the real estate development process
To provide information on the financing of real estate projects and investment analyses
Course Description
The aim of the Real Estate Economics course taught at the undergraduate level is to teach students the economic aspects of the real estate sector, market dynamics and economic analysis of real estate investments. This course aims to provide students with comprehensive knowledge about the functioning of real estate markets, financing models and the economic effects of real estate investments.
Course Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will;
- understand the basic principles and concepts of real estate economics,
- comprehend the functioning of real estate markets and the factors affecting them,
- will have information about real estate financing options,
- will be able to make economic analysis of real estate investments,
