Course Objectives
The course aims to;
1. Understanding the importance of building biology as a science on the basis of human-natural environment health and responsibility
2. Impact analysis of building biology on human needs and natural environment in the framework of human-building-environment relation
3. Emphasizing human safety-critical spatial items and conveying the essential technical information about their prevention
4. Introduction and transfer of measurement systems and methods provided by the science of building biology, arrangement and assessment of available data
5. Development of projects in accordance with building biology on the basis of compliance with IBN rules and cost issue
Course Description
Human and natural environment health; awareness of protection and social responsibility; human-building-environment relations; ecology; urban structuring and human health interaction-matters; principles of building biology science, its impact on human and nature health; interior space analysis and measurements in the scope of decisiveness of building biology; IBN rules and other design principles; selection of accurate material and ecological sustainability in design.
