2. To teach the urban specifications and principles that they should take into account during their projects
3. To show the economic, social, physical, legal and management issues that is important when evaluating design elements in urban environment
Course Description
Definition of Urban environment.Characteristics of various functional regions or spaces of urban areas with respect to planning. New identity, dimensions and functions of public places.Design products which take place in such areas. The principles of their placement. Problems of this subject with respect to the urban design and proposed solutions. Economic, social, physical, legal and administrative points which have to be considered for the evaluation of design elements within the urban environment.
