Course Objectives This course aims to equip students with the ability to develop comprehensive interior architectural projects by integrating aesthetics, spatial organization, and advanced building technologies. Throughout the course, students will:

Explore the intersection of sustainable design and luxury living, developing innovative strategies for environmentally responsible high-end residences.
Apply biophilic design principles, energy-efficient systems, and smart technologies to enhance indoor environmental quality and user well-being.
Investigate the relationship between residential and studio spaces through architectural analysis, conceptual studies, and model-making.
Utilize environmental data and user needs assessments to create resource-efficient and context-sensitive design solutions.
Course Description This course explores the concept of sustainable luxury housing by integrating aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility in interior architecture. Students will design a home and studio for a creative professional, ensuring that the space supports both living and working needs while prioritizing well-being and sustainability.

The course covers key concepts such as biophilic design, energy-efficient systems, smart technologies, and sustainable material selection. Through analysis, modeling, and representation techniques, students will develop innovative design solutions that respond to user needs and environmental factors. The project site, located in Zekeriyaköy, Istanbul, provides a natural and sustainable setting for contextual design exploration.
