Course Description

The basic philosophy of the project is to create a dynamic and experimental environment that encourages research, discovery, forecasting and decision-making. In the studio, a learning environment is created in which the knowledge experienced and obtained in the project area guides planning within the systematics of scientific thinking, the learning outcomes are discussed in the classroom and the results are questioned according to the changing and transforming society, city and planning agenda.
The topics selected in the studio are based on real problems and problem solving is handled within a multidimensional thinking system. Collaborative approaches established with local administrations, non-governmental organizations, the public and all other urban actors gain importance in the selection of the working area of the project studio and in ensuring that the real problems of the selected area are addressed.
