Course Objectives

Introduce skills in drafting construction drawings, standards and provide an overview of construction specification.
Improve the ablity to design landscape details in hardscape and softscape design projects.
Introduce project implementation process and the role of landscape architect within this process.
Improve the ability to integrate different techniques and methods of irrigation, lighting, drainage and stromwater management in to detail design
Give information on bill of quantities in landscape design projects.
Give information on prepertion of tender documents for landsape design projects

Course Description

Construction drawing techniques, standarts used in implementation projects, construction drawing techniques for hardscape, landscape detail design and system sections (1/20-1), construction drawing techniques for softscape (1/200-1/50), drainage and strom water management techniques, urban furniture in spatial design, irrigation and lighting techniques in landscape design projects, application project, bill of quantities, preperation of tender document, approximate costs and percentage, landscape specification and documentation
