EUT 241E - Computer Aided Design

Course Objectives

1. To gain knowledge about computer aided design software,
2. To gain knowledge on existing commercial CAD softwares and develop skills to utilize them in the design process,
3. To create 3-dimensional models by using one of the current software
4. To create 2D representations using basic visualization techniques and make presentations by visualizing with computer.

Course Description

Computer aided design systems, Computer aided design software. The basic principles of computer aided design, drafting, modelling, The modeling principles in common software such as Rhinoceros, Applications on line, curve,surface, solid modelling and basic visualization/rendering in the software.
