Course Objectives
1. To gain insight to the concept of scale in the context of landscape design by experiencing different design methods
2. To gain ability of conceptual approach to the design problems in different context and scale
3. To gain ability in designing small scale urban spaces with different themes in urban context
4. To produce ideas on place and settlement concepts and experimental design studies
Course Description
Experimental design on utilization of small urban voids with diverse activities for the use of the inhabitants; design strategies in order to posses varying scale problems.
Course Outcomes
Students who complete the course will be able to:
1. Develop insight to the issues of varying scales in landscape and urban design projects by applying different design methodologies
2. Conceptually approach the projects in different scale and context
3. Design small scale urban spaces with varying themes
4. To conceptualize tangible design issues
5. To develop critical thinking and alternative design ideas.

Required Facilities
Adobe photoshop, AutoCad, Sketch-up, 3D Max, Rhino, Flash ve diğer çizim ve tasarım destek programları.
