Course Objectives		1 - To get students to comprehend the potentials of plant material AS a design material 2 - To give an ability of solving planting design problems 3 - To give an ability of efficient use of plants in spatial design
Course Description		Main objective of this course is to give descriptive information about the usage of plant materials in landscape design. The aesthetic and functional character of plants, their two dimensional and three dimensional impressions will be studied. Features of the plant materials will be analyzed according to their attractive, focal or symbolic characteristics as well. The techniques of plant material usage in design and its relation with surrounding environment will be thought by analyzing different compositions of landscape materials.
Course Outcomes		1 - Will be able to foresee the design potential of plants 2 - Will be able to analyse and discuss a completed planting design 3 - Will be able to bring solution to planting design problems 4 - Will be able to draw a planting design project with all its technical details 5 - Use different drawing techniques in planting composition projects
