Course Objectives

The course aims to give basic knowledge regarding the IP rights and introduce the legal mechanism for the protection of existing and prospective works of the students.

Course Description

Fundamental principles, Types pf intellectual property rights: Copyrights, Trademarks, Patents, Utility models, Designs. Legal means for protection of designs: Unfair competition, Protection of registered designs. Conditions for protection of designs, International protection of designs.
