Course Objectives
1. To explain the importance of detail design in architectural design process.
2. To explain international approaches and methods to detail design.
3. To discuss the level and approaches to detail design in contemporary Turkish architecture practice.
4. To make students learn face to face, unique detail design approaches of invited Turkish architects.

Course Outcomes
Under graduate degree students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skill and competency in the following subjects;
1. To gather, assess, record, apply, and comparatively evaluate relevant information within design processes.
2. Effectively use basic architectural and environmental principles in design.
3. Examine and comprehend the fundamental principles present in relevant precedents and to make choices regarding the incorporation of such principles into architecture and urban design projects.
4. To produce a comprehensive architectural project that demonstrates each student’s capacity to make design decisions.
5. To work in collaboration with others and in multidisciplinary teams to successfully complete design projects.
