2. To give basic information on natural resources
3. To teach environmental impacts of natural resources exploitation

Course Description

General geology (minerals, rocks and their structural properties),
earthquakes, interpretation of geological maps, hydrogeology
(occurrence and flow of groundwater), occurrence of geothermal waters;
erosion and weathering processes, environmental impacts of mining
operations
