Course Description		Introduction. Problems of river hydraulics. Initiation of sediment motion. Flowregimes and ripples. Bed load, suspended load and total load computations.Design of stable channels. Erosion and deposition problems. River regulationsand bank protection. Navigation.
Course Outcomes		• Calculate the water surface profiles of flood flows. • It can determine the total solids flow through the river section.
