Course Objectives
The subject of the Geodetic Satellites course could be summarized as: by means of artificial geodetic satellites, determination of the locations of the points on the earth and the objects close to the earth (GNSS), determination of gravity field and temporal changes (CHAMP GRACE GOCE), determination of geodynamic events, crustal movements (GNSS+RADAR), sea level changes (ALTIMETER) and ground magnetic field monitoring (SWARM, etc.). In this context, the theoretical information about coordinate, time systems and transformations, Artificial satellites movements, orbit elements and determination, Observation methods, Positioning systems, From ground to satellite, satellite to ground, satellite to satellite measurents will be given.
