Course Objectives		To give the civil engineering students the basic concepts related to design of hydroelectric plants.
Course Description		Determination of Potential Energy of Surface Waters, Types of Hydroelectric Plants, Components of Hydroelectric Plants.
Course Outcomes		Student, who passed the course satisfactorily can: 1. Learn to calculate Hydroelectric Energy Potential. 2. Get a basis for planning Hydroelectric Energy Plants. 3. Learn how to design the Components of Hydroelectric Energy Plants. 4. Gain the ability of applying what they have learnt.
