Course Objectives
The graduate students of Geomatics Engineering will be equipped with the ability of producing and evaluating based on the basic information in the area of polygonation, application, deformation measurements, hydrographic and mining measurements which are the special applications of measuring technique. Besides, students will be able to scale the position determining methods according to their quality (accuracy, precision) and budget (by optimizing).
Course Description
In this course, numerous measuring techniques, especially, special topics in polygonation; applications of engineering structures such as bridge, tunnel, viaduct; applications of high tower, industrial chimneys; enbankment applications, vertical direction applications; measurements of building’s outside and interior height, horizontal platform applications; project management based on modern methods; direction determination, mining measurements; hydrographic measurements; industrial measurements; measurements with laser scanners and deformation measurements will be taught to the students.
