Course Objectives		1. Understanding the concept of earthworks in road construction 2. Calculation of cross-sectional area and volumes 3. Making optimum earth distribution 4. Calculation of excavator and truck productivity
Course Description		Drawing of road cross section, its’ area and volumes calculation. Mass diagram. Optimization of earth moving. Productivity of excavators and dampers.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass this course are expected: 1. To be able to calculate cross-sectional areas and volumes 2. To be able to make optimum earth distribution 3.To calculate truck and excavator efficiency
