CEV 4901 - Environmental Engineering Design Project - I

Course Objectives

1. Enable the students to design a system or a process for gaining knowledge and experience at the preliminary level in a teamwork.
2. Enable the students to provide opportunity to gain experience on preliminary aspects and phases of design within the framework of an engineering problem.
3. Enable the students to prepare and interpret fundamental project drawings such as general layout, P&I diagrams.
4. Enable the students to compare alternative processes and integrated solutions for engineering problems.

Course Description

Conceptual design; process selection and process flow diagrams, preparation of the feasibility (technical) report; project drawings (general layout, P&I diagram)
