Course Objectives 1. To give an ability to write and read technical drawings 2. To establish an understanding of techniques used in engineering drawings for technical communication.
Course Description Technical Drawing in Engineering, Meanings of Line Types, Lettering, Drawing instruments, Basic drawing methods, Dimensioning, Principles of Projection, Multiview projection, Sectional views, Oblique and axonometric (isometric) drawings, Computer-aided design (CAD)
Course Outcomes Students completing this course will be able to : 1. Create technical drawing and lettering, 2. Give dimensions on the drawings, 3. Draw multiview projections and sectional views 4. Draw axonometric (isometric) drawings 5. Use Computer-aided design (CAD)
