Course Objectives

1. To teach basic concepts of earth science
2. To give basic information on natural resources
3. To teach environmental impacts of natural resources exploitation

Course Description

General geology (minerals, rocks and their structural properties), earthquakes, interpretation of geological maps, hydrogeology (occurrence and flow of groundwater), engineering geology and media properties, geological construction materials, technonature.
