Developing design skills regarding air pollution control systems
Course Description
General principles in air pollution control. Measurement methods and emission standards. Basic operations and processes: Settling chambers, Cyclone, Wet scrubbing, Baghouse/Electrostatic Filtration, Adsorption, Absorption, Combustion, Desulfurization, deNOx control systems, and their designs. Industrial air pollution control, legal regulations, and the most appropriate treatment technologies in key industries.
