CEV 315E - Urban Planning

Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to comprehend the basic concepts and scope of urbanism, to understand the formation conditions and development processes of cities, to learn the planning process and its tools, and to comprehend economic and social change within the cause-effect relationship.

Course Description

This course covers urban development, historical change, global trends, and Türkiye's urban planning process. A term paper is included to explore the process of change and planning traditions and practices.
