Course Description		Course Content : Occurance of earthquakes, seismicity, earthquake hazard, the behavior of soils under cyclic loadings, liquefaction, lateral spreading under earthquake loading, determination of dynamic soil properties by in-situ and laboratory tests, Local sight effects during eartquakes, soil amplification, microzonation.
Course Outcomes		Learning Outcomes : 1 - Asses the seismicity of a given region 2 - Do liquefaction analysis 3 - Learn about the effect of local soil conditions in the soil behavior 4 - Introduce the microzonation works
