Course Objectives
1. Durability and corrosion.
2. Ready mixed concrete and assurance system.
3.Transportation, pumping, concreting in hot and cold weathers.
4. Mineral additives, admixtures, reology and self-compacting concrete, curing and lightweight concrete.
5. Non-destructive methods. Repairing and strengthening.
Course Description
Concrete in general. Durability and corrosion. Ready mixed concrete and assurance system. Transportation, pumping, concreting in hot weather. Concreting in cold weather. Admixtures, reology and self-compacting concrete. Mineral additives. Curing. Lightweight concrete. Non-destructive methods. Repairing and strengthening.

Laboratory study is performed on a chosen subject as a team.
A homework and presentation should be prepared by using results of laboratory study.
