Course Objectives
1. To teach basic concepts of earth science
2. To give basic information on natural resources
3. To teach environmental impacts of natural resources exploitation
Course Description
Students who pass this course:
I. Learn the basic properties of minerals and rocks.
II. Can interpret and use geological maps.
III. Learn to evaluate the geological reports.
IV. Learn occurence and flow of groundwater.
V. Learn the physical and chemical processes that affect planet earth.
VI. Gain knowledge related to the environmental impacts of mining operations.
