Course Objectives		.1. Acquire a comprehensive education program in the field of Digital terrain Models to graduate people in the topics of public land and topographic surveying, geographic information system, photogrammetry. 2. Recognize the need for and develop the ability to prepare for life-long study and learning.
Course Description		. Informations about the terrain surface are explained and processed for different applications. This course includes necessary concepts and methods to apply Digital terrrain models to engineering problems.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to: 1. Understand DTM production methods, 2. Understand model production methods, 3. Understand interpolation methods (Contour interpolation), 4. Understand interpolation methods (Surface interpolation), 5. Understand DTM production with Laser Scanner data, 6. Understand accuracy criteria for DTM, 7. Use necessary software for DTM production.
