Course Objectives
This course provides an overview of Data Science
To teach a broad selection of challenges and methodologies for working with data
Course Description
Data collection, cleaning, organization, processing, analytics and visualization. Basics of statistical inference and machine learning. Business intelligence, data warehousing. Data science project lifecycle. Data privacy and security.
Course Outcomes
A student who succeed in this course will:
Understand the problems addressed by data science methodologies and their limitations
Be able to collect data from various sources, also be able to enrich and process this data
Can visualize the data and conduct exploratory analysis
Learn the lifecycle of a data science project
Get the basics of machine learning techniques
Get the basics of statistical inference
Understand the usage of data in business domain
