Course Objectives
1. To provide the concepts of Artificial Intelligence,
2. To give an ability to form well-defined problem formulations for complex problems,
3. To give an ability to solve well-defined problems by using Artificial Intelligence tools,
4. To give an ability to design intelligent systems.
Course Description
Introduces theoretical and practical aspects of Artificial Intelligence. Presents foundational AI principles to formulate complex real-world intelligence problems. Presents structures and tools to define Artificial Intelligence problems. Presents mathematical and probabilistic tools to solve problems based on the structure of the problem and the search space.
Course Outcomes
1. Define a well-defined problem formulation for a complex problem,
2. Use search techniques in AI problems
3. Solve well-defined problems using artificial intelligence methods and algorithms,
4. Mathematically Formulate AI problems and develop inference mechanisms
5. Understand, design and apply artificial learning techniques
