Course Objectives Aim of this course is to give fundamentals of linear algebra to the students of Electrical and Electronic Faculty. The topics involved in this course are very important and very useful for these students for both their engineering education and their engineering careers.
Course Description 1. Vectors and vector spaces
2. Matrices, special matrices
3. Determinant and rank of square matrices
4. Linear equation systems and solving techniques of these systems
5. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors of square matrices, diagonalization
6. Linear transformations
Course Outcomes 1. To have some knowledge about vectors and vector spaces
2. To make calculations about matrices, determinant and rank
3. To make calculations about eigenvalues and eigenvectors
4. To have some knowledge about linear transformations
