Course Objectives
At the end of this course, students will be able to
• Define project (Resources, Process, and Management)
• Define concepts of project management
• Define project scope, schedule budget and typical project phases
• Define communication strategy with stakeholders
• Selecting best techniques to manage a project
Course Description
This course is designed to provide the student an overview of the project management and how it relates to business operations. This course introduces students to the procedures, tools, and techniques used in planning and managing projects. Students will learn how to integrate project management into the company strategy, and how to plan, schedule and manage projects. Issues covered include definition, planning, implementation, control and evaluation of the project. The course also focuses on developing the manager’s ability to organize and lead project teams, and conflict resolution.
