KON 407E - State Space Methods in Control Systems

Course Objectives

Fundamental theorems, stability, observer based controller design

Course Description

State variable analysis of control systems and obtaining various structural canonical forms. Controllability, observability, stabilizability, detectability. Separation principle. Design of feedback control systems. Pole assignment using state-feedback and partial pole assignment using output feedback. Observers, design of feedback control systems using observers. Lyapunovstability criteria.
