Course Objectives

1. To teach the basics of remote sensing.

3. To introduce the necessary digital image processing techniques.

Course Description

Covers active and passive remote sensing systems, application areas, fundamentals of radiation, framing and multi-spectral scanning and detection systems, remote sensing in the microwave region, radar and SAR systems, remote sensing satellites, data collection and processing, classification and data fusion.
