Course Objectives		1. To teach the basics of remote sensing. 2. . To introduce remote sensing systems. 3. To introduce the necessary digital image processing techniques.
Course Description		Covers active and passive remote sensing systems, application areas, fundamentals of radiation, framing and multi-spectral scanning and detection systems, remote sensing in the microwave region, radar and SAR systems, remote sensing satellites, data collection and processing, classification and data fusion.
