Course Objectives

The overall educational objective of this course is to enable students to:
1. Understand importance and role of supply chain management for companies.
2. Understand and identify the major decision areas of supply chain
3. Analyze the supply chain performance and financial impacts of supply chain decisions.
4. Design efficient and effective supply chain networks.

Course Description

This course focuses on the development and application of decision models in supply chains with emphasis on demand forecasting, inventory management, supply chain network design, transportation, warehousing, sourcing, IT systems, performance management and coordination.
