Course Objectives 1. To present the basics of strategic management
2. To explicate the relationship between strategic management process and key organizational outcomes –physical product/service components, financial outputs, sustainable internal and external customer satisfaction, 3. To enable students to acquire theoretical and practical methods and know-how of the strategic management process.
Course Description External environment analysis, competitive analysis, analysis of internal resources and capabilities, development of strategies, corporate level strategy, business level strategy, delivery of innovation and added value, case studies
Course Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course;
I. Know the strategic management concepts
II. Understand the strategic management process
III. Distinguish basic business strategies and implementation principles
IV. Conduct internal and external environment analysis
V. Create plans and programs for corporate, competitive and functional strategies
VI. Solve complex problems with effective communication and coordination in team work
