Course Objectives
he objectives of this course are to build skills and knowledge in integrating quantitative research into planning and decision making processes, demonstrating ethical dimensions associated with research, understanding major steps of conducting scientific research, developing and writing research proposals, learning how to execute a research design including collecting and analyzing the data.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide a review of research process and type of research design, a summary of univariate data analysis methods and selected dependence and interdependence methods of multivariate data analysis. Conceptual issues necessary for an appropriate application of each technique are addressed along with the statistical considerations. The main emphasis is on when to use the various techniques and how to interpret the results of the analyses conducted by using SPSS
