Course Objectives
Course Learning Outcomes: Students who achieve at this course will be able to 1.Distinguish value-added and non-value added activities (wastes) from each other. 2. Apply various techniques of waste elimination in a production system. 3. Sketch a value-stream-map of a system 4. Learn foundations of a Kanban system 5. Comprehend the link between production lead time and inventory costs. 6. Learn foundations of lean logistics practices.

Industrial Housekeeping (5S), Visual Workplace & Set-up Analysis and Reduction;
