Course Description		Material properties at atomic level, their effects on macro-behaviour, defects in crystal structure, mechanism of diffusion and its effects on material properties, fatique, fracture and creep principles in metallic materials, tensile behavior of metallic materials, phase diagrams and calculatios, heat treatments, Fe-C system, the effects of heat treatments on steel structures
