Course Objectives		1. To provide the methods of drilling 2. To give an ability how to collect data from underground and carry out measurements 3. To provide the duties of a geological engineer and precautions in drilling, water-well design
Course Description		Drilling methods, methods and equipments of cable-tool (percussion), rotary and air drilling, water –well, grouting and soil investigation drillings, geotechnical measurements, difficulties and precautions in drilling, water-well design
Course Outcomes		Students who pass this course will be able to 1. Apply underground survey methods 2. Apply and choose the appropriate and economical drilling methods 3. Interpret the data related to the underground geological formations 4. Design a drilling rig and operation 5. Design a water-well and its drilling
