Course Objectives		To study the physical and dynamical processes in seas and ocean.
Course Description		Physical properties of sea water: salinity, temperature, pressure and density relations. Heat and salt budgets. Currents induced by density variations. Coriolis force, geostrophic motions, large scale currents. Wave motions: wind waves, deep and shallow water waves, surface cuurents, Ekman spiral and Ekman transport.
