Course Objectives

To teach basic law and maritime law,
To examine ship building process regarding maritime law,
To identify corelation between sea misfortunes and ships.
To teach basic labor law, labor contracts, parties of contract, obligations and responsibilities.

Course Description

Introduction to law, maritime law, seaworthy/cargoworthy ship, property of ship, ship registere, ship mortgage, mortgage of shipyard owner, ship and shipping finance, collision, general average, labor law, labor contracts, occupational accidents and responsibilities.
