Course Objectives
To develop knowledge and understanding of management system and the ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC 2006 Convention
Course Description
Mandatory Codes and Convention such as ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC 2006.
Course Outcomes
Students who pass the course will be able to:
I. understand the background and genesis of the ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC 2006 Convention
II. recognise the advantages of a documented management system and identify the building blocks of systematic management
III. appreciate the role of the international standarts applicable to management system and understand the purpose and the process of certification
IV. describe the detailed provisions of the ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC 2006 Convention
